In phase I of our relationships, we focus on identifying and filling “the gaps.” We address problematic corporate structures; validate the market space; create business plans; quantify capital needs; identify target investors; write pitch materials; and develop target terms. In phase II, we then step into part-time or full-time executive roles to secure investment as well as drive strategy, business development, finance, and operations forward. In this capacity, we frequently work with angel investors and venture capitalists so they can provide outside perspectives and capital. As companies grow and mature, we transition to a board-level advisory role to assist with strategy, business development and executive recruitment.
